[@Mokley] Also, should there be a general warning about the surface? Maybe something like 'whoever goes down there has [i]never[/i] come back' sort of thing that all citizens are aware of? Because I doubt there's an easy way to fly [i]all the way back[/i] with just a glider, or even a modified one that has a booster or something. 

Aaaalso, that gives me an idea; perhaps, there are royal guards that are posted all around the borders of Heron and nested in look-out towers to try and find anyone who might fall off and then go ahead and save them. Like an elite rescue team.
