[/quote] I'm not Dedonous but the way I usually understood it, Greeks (unlike Egyptians who gave their gods animal heads and features) associated their gods to being more human and that was mostly to connect their influence over mankind. The way they worshiped them, they could be considered different and superior to humans. Most cultures also use their own human characteristics in their deities as shown through the ages.
