So, Hallows can't be killed unless their bodies are completely destroyed?

Or apparently can't killed at all. I suspect it'd be something which would be toned down when I get to comment on nations.
Hallow can be killed, but it takes more than a simple stab to the chest. Generally fire is the fastest and most efficient way to kill a Hallow or large groups of them. Or course you might get the odd one out every so often but it'll do the trick most of the time and good if you need to keep moving. The sure fire way of killing a Hallow is basically taking them apart limb by limb by either hacking them off or pounding them to a pulp; there has never been a Hallow that's survived as chunks of meat. Of course, you can alway permanently disable a Hallow in ways that won't have their resurrection or regeneration trigger, namely throwing them into the sea with weights or hanging them with some strong ass rope, you can also shove them in cages, but there's a chance they could try to turn into one of those spider looking mother fuckers from Dark Souls. Or course you'd have to put up with the sight and possibly the sound of them but I guess you could call that "storage" until you can pull off a more permeant solution. If you happen to have any other ideas, I could always give my opinion on them ^^
