I had a feeling Malika might suffer from that a bit when I was making her. Fire's pretty common, so there are going to be bad guys it doesn't work so great against. Understanding that, I still would like to make it her focus. The concept I started in on with her character was a temperamental dragon-blooded pyromancer, and I'd at least like to stay somewhat true to that idea. That being said, I don't plan on exclusively choosing fire spells, I'll pick up some control stuff and some non-fire spells too.

As far as golems go, they're Immune to Magic, which includes any spell that allows Spell Resistance, so that really narrows down the list of spells that are actually useful against them. Construct Traits makes them immune to a bunch of negative status effects too, which further limits which spells work well. I'll have to look at the spell list more thoroughly, but at a glance my feeling is that golems are just generally hard to deal with as a caster, rather than specifically for blasters.

EDIT: You are right about my left over gold, not sure where I slipped up there. Anyways, I've purchased a belt pouch and adjusted my remaining silver/copper pieces so that it's now correct.

Its not your spell selection I have a problem with, its your Feats and Traits that concern me. They're so focused on building up a single spell that hardly any actual general boosts or help you might need are there.

But if you honesly still want to go with all this despite what I've said, then your character is approved.

Cool. I'm sticking with the way she's built then.
P.S. did you get my PM about Cindersnakes and changing my familiar to a generic viper?

We're still waiting on Violettesaphire's changes before we can start.

You still need to add one more skill rank, one more Language, fix up your spell list and if you still want the crown, just give a reasonable price/weight to it.

I believe this would be a reasonable basis for the crown value/weight:

Crown weight 3 lb (using the same weight of the crown of swords)

Edit: (Crown of blasting has 1 lb so there is a leeway with the weight)

Ok guys.... slight hiccup that I could use your help with.

The biggest obstacle for me right now is that I'm trying to figure out the best way to figure out some sort of Map for you guys to know where everyone is in the game. Its about making the image, figuring out how to let you guys see it and ease of how to move characters over it.

Any suggestions on what can be done for this would be GREATLY appreciated.

We could use google documents to make a drawing? If you upload a map with gridlines as the background, and then we put moveable tokens on top to represent NPCs and PCs, that'd be pretty easy. Only problem I can see is that it would let everyone move everything, so if we're not careful we could mess things up.

I tried MapTools, I keep getting that jarfile error when I try to open it.

Here's the link to an example map using Google Docs. You should be able to move the four colored tokens around the map freely.

NEW QUESTION!

This is jsut something I want you guys to chime in on how we go about XP and Leveling.

Which would you guys prefer: Calculated XP for what you guys do? Or Just level up at set points during the Campaign?

I prefer set points during the campaign mostly.

Still missing that one skill rank, and how much did you value the crown?

Set points sounds more convenient. Keeps us at the right level for the entire campaign. ^~^

Set points has more leeway if the party thinks up an unusual solution to a problem that would otherwise be solved with experience yielding face-smashing; I'm in favor of lateral thinking :P
