She'd just have to come to terms with the fact that Cassandra meant every word. Keeping an eye out for bandits or outlaws, as well as creatures, Nies continued to drive. The idea that dying in the game would result in a comatose state in the real world wasn't as horrifying in the game, as it had been in that sick room, with Erika. Nies knew that over confidence could be a problem, but she found she didn't care. Stopping the car a little way away, Nies brought out her secondary staff, weaker then her original one, but it was better then nothing until she could get a replacement. Tying, and tucking her hair into her shirt, Nies stood up straight, looking about her, the dagger that was her only physical weapon tucked into her belt. She walked with purpose, glancing back at the car, she wondered if that was another one gone, and if the Green King would prevent her from taking another one. Not that it mattered. At the end of this, Nies suspected she wouldn't be apart of the green guild, or perhaps any guild for that matter. She would help those she wanted to help, and wondered briefly what exactly had changed. When she had first entered Deep ground, she had figured she'd just be apart of a guild, do things for that guild. And now...now, she was seeking her own goals. Perhaps that was the truth of the game. To learn your true values, and to see if you had the strength to do what you sought. Perhaps the position you sought in the real world was based on how much you wanted it. Slacking off in the game could indicate just what you would do in the real world, but emphasizing the game over grades was a mistake, and the game having an immense aspect on the real life was wrong. And it seemed to have lost its true purpose, the kings making it a game of power rather than skill. Perhaps they all needed to be taken down. Walking towards the black castle, Nies pondered that. Something needed to change in the game, that was for sure. She looked up at the castle with amusement. How many days had she been trying to make her way there, each time distracted by something else? Meeting Jukebox, coming to the city after being hunted by bandits, only to be thrown into a battle with a dissolution. It all seemed like a long winding journey, and yet she was finally here. She stayed back, hiding in the shadows, and watched the castle. She reflected how she was going into a dangerous situation, where she wouldn't be able to fight truly, except to stab with her dagger, but found she wasn't scared. What would be would be. There seemed to be a lot of commotion, and she was sure Eris, Eclipse Princess, was at the center of it. Or the cause of it. Tilting her head, Nies considered, pondering whether to get closer, or wait. Would the goal be Corpse collector, or merely destruction? Both seemed likely, of Eris. Knowing her though, the goal would be Corpse collector. Why cut off the limb when you could go for the head? She decided to wait for Nyx to appear, rather then go in alone. [@Mega Birb][@KoL]
