He should have switched to bigger weapons, perhaps an anti-material rifle of some sort, but Lucius never liked such ostentatious weapons. Plus it was hard to drive a motorcycle while using a two-handed weapon for obvious reasons. Still, he was at least making some progress: He noticed he made a bullet hole! Upon closer observation he was almost certain he found where the armor was thin, which was at the hind leg. While it's not exactly a Achilles Heel, if he could get a bigger gun or a heavier weapon on that spot, there was a good chance Lucius could at least knock out a leg. After riding past another near miss Lucius looked to see how the girl was doing. She had taken a metal pipe out and started to fight one of the KBot's. Lucius was wondering where the other went. Her pipe was getting bent with each hit however, and it wasn't going to be long before it'd break. Worse still while Lucius was just distracted for a second, the other KBot went after her while his buddy continued his beat down. This was no time to play around anymore; if he didn't take immediate action that girl was going to get killed. Gunning his Motorcycle towards the girl there was a few things he could try. He could simply turn into a giant cement block and ram into the bots using his current momentum. That ought to do some damage. But he couldn't turn into a big enough rock to hit both, and the girl didn't have much time left before her defenses fell. He could have tried to apply more dakka and just turn into a wall of guns, firing everything he had on them. But again, the girl was still there. She would have been caught in the crossfire. No, the important thing was that the girl needed to not be there. So Lucius needed to get her out, and make a path. Before the two KBots could crush her between their massive frames, Lucius drove to the girl, snatched her up, and managed to get her out before they killed them. He was a bit rough, but it was much better than what the robots would have done to her. Didn't take them long to relive what was happening and gave chase. Lucius created a grenade launcher this time, wanting more kick, and fired a bomb at the bots. But unlike a bullet they could keep track of the bomb and slapped it away, resulting in another building exploding. Lucius took the girl a fair bit away as the robots gave chased, but stopped in the middle of an empty bridge. There were still cars on the streets but the drivers had left, likely due to the KBot nearby. The road wasn't narrow enough to stop the bots from coming, but at least it did funnel them to one direction. Letting the girl off Lucius looked at her. ”Looks like you’re in need of some real steel, not some limp pipe. Why don’t you try this on for size?” Lucius grabbed his chest and started pulling out a sword handle. Every inch that the sword came out, more and more of Lucius’s body got sucked into the sword, until eventually his entire body became a katana. It was an enigma of a blade; it was as black as night yet reflected light as bright as the moon. The handle was long enough to be held with two hands, and with the blade the entire length of the sword was almost shoulder height to the girl, yet if she would grasp this weapon she would find perfect balance. This sword was forced from the darkest iron from the depths of the underworld, yet forged in the heat of the sun itself, a duality of both heaven a hell all in one weapon. This was the katana of Ten Thousand Years in the Sun’s Origin, otherwise known as “Nippon Banzai”. Or at least that’s the story Lucius would tell. Truth is it’s just a sword he saw at some point as one of his characters. While he’s certain the sword he saw contained powerful magics, this one was just a sword of steel. That being said, it’s still a masterwork katana, even if it lacked any special properties beyond what one might be able to achieve by a smith of considerable skill. And it did have the unique quality of actually being Lucius too, so unlike most katanas which must be handled with great skill or else they could chip and break, as long as Lucius was alive he could keep the edge sharp and the blade sturdy. This form lacked a method for him to speak so he couldn’t tell the girl to wield him, but perhaps it was her choice to do so. But out here on this bridge, there wasn’t exactly any handy source of branches or pipes for her to grab. Unless she intends to ransack the cars on the off chance she’d find a tire iron or rip out a muffler, the Nippon Banzai was the only weapon available to her.
