Okay, they died, but they were still old, and capable as ninja, nonetheless. Hiruzen enough so to go against the edo-tensei'd Senju brothers and Chiyo enough to puppet Sakura against Sasori. 

What are we even talking about, at this point? I wasn't saying old people don't die in Naruto, it was that old people can still be capable in their old age.
