Silas clenched his teeth at the short shrift he was getting from his supposed allies. Firstly was the child, acting as though his warning was unwarranted, and muttering insults and epithets about him under his breath. Then, it was the mage, acting as though Silas was somehow insulting or imposing upon him by trying to strike up conversation. And then he was insulting him, as well. Not a fantastic start. And then the mage had to go and needlessly antagonize the children. Even he'd had more tact when dealing with them. This was not at all turning out how he expected it to, in all the wrong ways. He growled, and turned to give the both of these upstarts what for, when the woman- the Demon Hunter- decided to throw her two cents in. Unfortunately for Silas, her words had a point. He sighed, and pinched the bridge of his nose. She was right, of course- needlessly engaging in vitriol was counterproductive to their efforts. And he hadn't exactly shown the proper respect earlier, either, considering the Huntress' words. "Yes... yes, you're right. I apologize, you are correct- it has been a long time since I've had to deal with any but my own. But then, I suppose that distinction doesn't apply to you all, anymore. We are allies, are we not?" He turned toward the door on the left, seeing as the boy had gone over to the door on the right. He turned toward the other member of their party- the young girl- and nodded over to the door. "We should investigate further. Would you care to accompany me?"
