Ok, I actually have a question about the magic. Can it be used supportively? For example, for air, I can create barriers or use it to speed up my or my ally's movements.

i dont see why not. the way i understood it, based off what just happened in the IC is that we can make the elements do what ever we want.... so long as we are capable. if we can think it, and it makes sense then we can probably get it done. so go for it!

Alright! Oh, and also, are weapons, or weapon related magic, allowed? By weapon related magic, I mean summoning a weapon in general. Also, if they are allowed, my weapon of choice would go under the Other category, right?

My character has a bow and arrow as well as knives that he uses. But the most elemental stuff he does with it is making sure the arrow is on its on mark, even then he doesn't use that too much.

History: Ven's parents were killed by three men under the accusation that they were magic users, and has been on his own ever since. He wasn't aware of his magical abilities until one day, the same three men that had killed his parents had cornered him and had planned on executing him for being a magic user. He felt the need to fight back, and to avenge his parents. Suddenly, he had summoned his weapon, Wayward Wind, and defended himself, sending the three men running for their lives with a mixture of using his newfound blade and his wind magic.
Other: Ventus is a kind individual and will put his life on the line for his friends. He mostly uses his sword and the other types of magic for his offense, but will use his main magic, wind, to defend himself and support others, increasing the accuracy and speed of their attacks.

yin and yang, spiritual and physical. these two concepts govern most beliefs. the physical is ruled by the 4 great elements. earth wind fire and water. the cardinal elements. but why is spirit only one? supposedly equal to the physical...why only one?......

Because the spiritual has to be equal to the physical in order for their to be balance?

but the physical is broken into 4 elements, in this rp anyway, But spirit remains a Singular entity. is the 1 'spiritual' equal to the 4 'physical?'

And I agree. everything that lives on this planet, plants, animals humans insects... everything, is made up of these 4 elements. and given life by the 5th, spirit. spirit exists in the combination of the four. like yin and yang. a bit of black in white, a bit of white in black. balance. so for that balance to be balance there has to be a reverse side to it. (in my imagination and not necessarily this rp) the physical elements should abide in the Spirit some small way. im just trying to figure out how....

and btw im not asking this to be argumentative or confusing, im jut bored and like mind puzzles
