[@Altered Tundra] They're just both unhealthy angry explosive teenagers that should not be placed in a room together. Yeah, someone stop her. Alex is somewhat of a paradox in everything: her "feminity" shows during her displays of amped up testosterone in the fact she doesn't follow any "code." Like even when two guys who hate each other fight, they have this unspoken rule that some things are not ever brought up. Alex is just, "I'm angry so fuck you. No remorse for my words." And this leads into her "insight" and "observation" skills. She's cruel with words because she doesn't see how it effects those she's yelling at. If they cried then she would feel guilty because it has to be physically there. Or if someone she didn't have this vendetta against like Jackson was upset and it was obvious she wouldn't start anything with him and just let him be. Alex can make observations of humans as a whole (like I wrote in her CS, "everyone's got mommy or daddy issues" or people act this way when they're interested in someone) but even though she spends years with some of her friends, she still wouldn't be able to tell you how they'd feel or think of something.
