It was not Adam who came, but the tall Mystery man from before. How surprised Camilla must have seemed, her call for help had been answered. He didn't linger long for he seemed to have a mission, and it led him through the hall of torture. "That way is just hot coals and sharp tendrils as far as it goes," she said, "but the other way is just back up to the city." She frowned, looking at the stairs leading up. "Do you think there's any other way back home?" She didn't want to walk over hot coals or through sharp vines. She'd never dreamed she'd have to do anything of the sort in her life time before, but now it seemed like the only option. The look of the strange man told her as much. If there was no other way out she would try to be brave. Camilla wanted only to go home, for her family. At the very least they didn't deserve to worry. "I want to go home." she concluded.
