Hey, I've been keeping watch of the thread. Depending on how the that whole extra faction thing goes I'd be interested in joining that, if not I'll see what I do. Just one thing though.

Why wouldn't you expect people to jump to a position that by the game's rules makes them more powerful than if they took a lower spot? There's no real reason why players wouldn't want to play a captain beyond some sort of specific personal preference as far as characterization goes or wanting to be part of a specific squad where the slot is already taken.
