[@Rakurai] We have to make some sort of speech to appease the masses, and having Mary acknowledge her mistake openly and accept some form of punishment would go a lot further then trying to defend her actions.
The question is, why do you have to 'appease the masses?' Obviously you have to acknowledge the existences of angry peasants wielding crude weapons, but it's not like you all have to stand there and act like a collective group of officials trying to cover up a botched job. As I stated previously, there's no reasonable way for Mary to apologies and admit fault, since technically she was committing and act of terrorism xD And explaining that Taylor isn't a skeleton/necromancer is just a waste of time. I think it's plausible for Ueno to go unnoticed since he was controlling his living armors from a distance. And Moros.... well he's already decided to observe. [@KoL] Don't 'guys' me! Rawrs! I would have done more acting and less babbling, but I'm admittedly not involved with the scene. Hence the only thing I can actually do is rant and babble. I don't think positing ideas is a bad way to go since it does encourage communication and engagement between players, but if the planning does go over board I can see it as an issue. Metagaming is already happening with things like the baby anyway xD [@RiverMaiden] I personally think the next post for Mary will be quite important. How she responds now will really define her as a character, as she most likely has a routine she goes through when her crazy escapades go awry. Coming up with a solution would be nice, but I think it'd really detract from the character is you sacrificed her personality and character for the sake of conflict resolution. She's known as the "City's Madness" and I'd hope she lives up to her name xD
