Just use rotational gravity/centripetal force unless you want to go full scifi with gravity generators.

Also, that's not the strangest thing I've ever gotten to while doing RP stuff, I remember I was once looking up fantasy Japanese soldiers for another NRP (my prize Fuso-waifu <3) got to a thing about Unit 731's secret projects and this fine chap:
