SO I have some ideas, but i'd like some opinions before getting started:
Demi-God/Goddess 
My current idea is a child of Hades as a private investigator or police officer who deals with crimes of a regular or supernatural nature with his ability to talk with the dead. Seeing and speaking with the dead can evolve over time to commanding the dead as telepathy often does shift from passive to persuasive. If I can do this without stepping on toes, he might become something like constantine or ghostrider.

Feral Man/Woman [Wolverine, Tigra, Beast]
I was pondering a blend of anthro furry with street fighter as a ki-using warrior.

Big Man/Woman [Hulk, She Hulk, Thing] 
Trying to play with tropes, I was looking at a medical dwarf anthropologist who found Thor's magical belt Megingjörð and the iron gloves Járngreipr. When worn, he gains a fantastic surge in size and strength to go from merely 4 feet tall to 12 feet high and well muscled.

mind you, these are merely the broadest of brush strokes and there is much more to refine, I just don't want to invest hours in and find out the spot was already filled.
