Vivian heard all she needed to know from Malkai. She ignored the freaking out of the woman Catarina. Was this woman always this stressed out? Did she not learn anything in the temple. Situations like this are meant to be taken calmly with a grain of salt. Freaking out about it only tired you out faster. Especially in a place like the desert. She agreed with Malkai. They needed to get this chalice to the mages guild fast and quick. There was no telling when another bandit attack against them would occur. She had no intentions of dying here and she was feeling mighty exhausted from all the spell casting she has done already. She moved to the druid and nodded. "Agreed, lets get going. No time to waste,... Anyone could have seen the dust from the temple. May even come investigating. Problem is,... it wont be the type that would help us." She voiced her opinion. It was time for them to leave. The temple was a fun test of her magic but right now. She wanted to relax some and where better then in a tavern or inn somewhere at the city of Saphire.... ---- ......Speaking of Saphire the city was bustling as normal. It was probably the most busiest city on the sands of the desert. With it having it's back to the ocean it was no wonder why. However, there was business to be had in the city. Not that many know of or take serious of. The uprooting of heretics... people who fancy demon worshiping or even witchcraft. The mages guild made it incredibly difficult seeing as some of their members delved into such things on a occasion. The church had tried to bring justice on them but the guild would just tell them they were not in their jurisdiction. So the church sent out a letter over seas to the main branch of their church for aid. That was three months ago and it had been answered. The order sent someone the church themselves did not expect. A Inquisitor.... Many people knew who she was the moment he came to shore. Well not her name just what she was. They could tell by the holy symbols on her black armor. She was dressed very differently then most would have imagined. Over her armor she had worn a trench coat and a top her long red hair she wore a brimmed hat. Her repeating crossbow and her long sword at her hips. The woman moved not really demanding attention or authority,... not just yet. She wondered upon a familiar sight. A bard and a woman being picked on by a bunch of thieves. This did not come to her surprise. She didn't really care at first. The woman seemed she could handle herself pretty well. She continued to push forward to let them handle it on their own. Then she noticed something... she was on the wrong side of these buildings. The church was a bit farther north from here. She looked to the sky as she realized it. She then smirked and decided to intervene anyways. "Alright I don't care who started it but this ends here. You fools will move out of my way and scatter from here as of now...." She said. The thieves one by one turned their heads to the woman. Well their heads where already in that direction do to the other female in armor. "What makes you think we will listen to you?" One said. She didn't even hesitate. Her hand moved up grabbing the grip to her repeating crossbow and aimed it in his direction and fired. The bolt being of decent size hit him right between the eyes. He was dead before he hit the ground. "Anymore of you fools want ask something stupid or should I kill you all right here and now?" She said. The bandits looked to their dead comrad and then back to her. They grew angry and ran towards her. With her free hand she grabbed the brim of her hat and tossed it up into the air as a distraction. She pulled the trigger three times bringing down three more of the bandits before brandishing her sword for close combat.
