Hmm, I thought this kind of freedom in characters and lore-making would inspire more posts/activity than the traditional, linear format of roleplaying. Am I being unreasonable in think that?

Anyway . . .

The Gastridamon boss has been defeated! It's technically dead, so whoever posts about it next can describe its death in anyway he or she wants. @icmasticc did the most damage to it in a single post. @Ozerath's Kyle took the most damage, but because his attack landed a crit, and Gastridamon had Reflect! @Rockette did most consistent damage.

If I may say so, I, personally would love to have created something as engaging as this RP in any of my attempts at starting RPs across multiple sites.

From what I can glean via the OOC and the IC though you may have lost some players, you do have a dedicated group on your hands.

Though, I have nothing else to contribute aside from my interest in joining when things in my life aren't so hectic (some time next week hopefully), I'd like to leave on this note: Don't give up just yet, this still has a lot of room to grow. Enjoy the world you've built. :)

@DJAtomika - I can relate to that, stupidly stressed and ridiculous because why-oh-why did I agree to plan an engagement thing when the wife-to-be in question is such a damn snoop.

Looking forward to that post though for the beef cake and the smaller, but no less handsome beef slice.

My motivation is severely crippled at this time, so I I'll hold off on additional characters of mine and the graduation party flashback for now. It might be easy to recruit new people, but it's quite emotionally taxing when people disappear or stop posting, or promise things that then doesn't appear. I need a day or two to my own devices.

And I'm a terrible person and a liar but the post is now up! (Sorry about the delay, real life just didn't want me to get a post up yesterday.) Though truthfully I'm still trying to figure out in my head what to do in flashback, maybe next time it will come up.

Oh well don't feel discouraged! I've found in my ten or so years of running RPs (God. I feel so terribly ancient right now.) that if you get caught up in expectations you only end up disappointing yourself. All you can do is create the best gosh darn story that you can and hopefully have fun with some people telling it. While worrying about player's post frequency or if players leave is good because it shows you care about the story you want to tell; if you let that worry control how you feel than all your excitement about telling a good story becomes distorted into inward anger and disappointment. People leave sometimes or people can't post as quickly as you may like and it's a very annoying and sucky part of life. Alas it is also a part of life that you cannot change no matter how much you struggle against it. So instead of worrying about things that you cannot change no matter how much you would oh so love them to change. You gotta focus on the important stuff like the awesome posts you do get and all these awesome people you do have!

I'm interested! If you have room, that is.

I'm a slow writer, though, as I currently have two other advanced RPs, so you may have to be a little patient with me.

Yes, there is always room for more here. Well, the preferred post frequency is the same for everyone, slow writer or not. But, I think two weeks is rather generous and more than enough time to conjure a post, if not more. We don't ask for lavish writing or perfect posts. Other than that, there's a lot of freedom when it comes to secondary characters and lore creation.

@Archangel89 - Hey, Arch, been a while! Saddened to see you cannot join us, but it does bring back some fond memories! Even some of the original cast is present here with even more additions related to them. Maybe, in the future, you'll be able to join TSW projects.
