Egwene shrugged softly at the scarecrow as he said the bandits refused what they offered. Which probably meant a few things, depending. "They are bandits. Practically everything is worthwhile to them, in some manner. Which means they just want to kill you for the sake of killing you. Or they are looking for something specific" she said, totally not noticing the quip about her finely woven dress of awesome. She was deaf to all those. "It's fine. I don't need your money, you keep what you have and survive. No point paying us for helping with the bandits and starving a week later because you can't afford food" She said, before looking to the hill and nodding. An hour and a half would be plenty of time to make a Firepit and test out her new abilities. She needed to know how strong the fire was, it's range, it's nature...quite a lot, actually. It'd be embaressing to use it in a fight and mistake it's nature. Then a metal man appeared and asked for food. he didn't introduce himself, so Egwene ignored him, and shook her head at the offer of food. "Foxes have their own metabolism. We don't need food like you do. So I shall stay out here with the scarecrow, in case the bandits get bored and decide to come early" She said, moving off to one patch of ground that looked easy enough to dig up
