Depends, Does light prevent energy being pulled from her? It would prevent him from absorbing anyone else's Power but I would think he could still absorb hers. Not that it matters much, I doubt she would walk into the store and try to touch him anyway, and stays as quiet about his own ability as he can.

EDIT: [@Treue] (I know the mention wont work) what power charges does Chaz start with? Any CotD that walked into the store and bought something is likely to have come into contact with Chaz at least once, so he would have a single charge of their power unless something happened to allow him to hold on longer [s](flirting with a pretty girl for instance)[/s].
