Okay, so basically, I have 3 classes that are required for seniors to take, which in my case are Calculus AB, AP Government Honors, and AP English Literature. These are the core classes.

The other four classes are electives, which means they're optional classes that I choose off a list. Mine, if I remember correctly, are Honors Chorus, Contemporary Visual Media (AKA watch movies and then talk about them), Creative Writing, and AP Geography Honors (which is the how, why, when, where and [sometimes] who of civilization as a whole, AKA fun shit).

Finally, Scholastic Lab is a class where literally all you do is do homework for other classes. It's pretty great.

And yes, I have 7 actual classes, then Scholastic Lab. All of them are about 1 1/2 hours long.
