Gorik felt incredibly strange as he moved around the college. There were many people near him, and he made sure to be incredibly vigilant of anything that could be a threat to him. He did his best not to be noticed, something that wasn't particularly easy with his height, and overall size. After a little while he made his way toward the Dining Hall as had been suggested. Some of the other students made attempts to speak to him, but realised relatively quickly that it may not have been the best idea, his nervousness being quite obvious. He had felt quite hungry for a while, but the fear had caused his stomach to hurt quite a lot, and he wasn't sure how much he could trust the food either, causing him to only take a few bites. Later on he watched as the Headmaster spoke, doing his best to be away from it, knowing that most of the other students would likely want to move toward the speaking. Not long after, two of the teachers moved forward, and shortly after, he saw the display of electromancy. He cringed at the sound of it, causing him to shake before his eyes focused on the energy that had been placed at the roof, a feeling of awe coming over him, but causing his fear to grow even further. It was clear that the teachers, and likely several of the students could be far bigger threats to him than anyone he had ever met before. It took Gorik a moment to realise that all the metal in the room had been raised slightly, and he looked around frantically, making sure not to be near any of it. He was quite glad about his lack of metal gear for a moment, but also very quickly realised how common weaponry seemed to be among the students, something that was far from comforting. Once everything fell back down, he continued to look around, especially at anyone nearby, though doing his best to seem very focused on the Headmaster, and teachers, not that he did a very good job of it.
