Your point makes a certain sense. I was trying to think of a way around it and the key might be through the help of Doctor Roswin. I certainly couldn't excuse the truth there but if he were given a treatment to alleviate the severe downsides from Roswin he might be able to manage.

I agree with the last part but if you understand him the way I have imagined you'd think different in terms of tough and there's been no action to determine that he's not resourceful. This guy can survive and recover from wounds that would cripple and kill others. An unrestrained punch could cause him to break another man, though he'd probably break his own arm in the process.

I didn't share a combat scenario so judging adaptability even with the circumstances is jumping the gun.


Benny might rather deserve the spotlight in another story but I'm curious what Blue Demon thinks. I wanted something stranger than a general soldier so if he's declined I could mess with a token alien character.
