Don't look at me, I should not be trusted with authority. The last time I co GM'd with someone I didn't know personally irl, it ended up with me taking over their project and essentially setting the place on fire. I'm still super good buds with the person, but I've learned my lesson. If it's not my brainchild, then I'm not meant to touch it.
