Eh, I can't say I agree. Green Goblin is a great villain, Superman is [i][u]the[/u][/i] hero. I always heard that the big difference between DC and Marvel was that Marvel heroes tend to be relatable people, everyday joes who've gotten powers in some way that reader can more easily feel empathy with, while DC heroes are larger than life, embodiments of ideals and legendary figures.

Obviously there are exceptions but it mostly works.
