The thing about House Rathmore is that all of the King's children have passed away, one by one, in a series of unfortunate circumstances. With only one potential heir remaining, even that one has grown ill, therefore sparking great controversy on who would inherit the crown after the King, who is growing old, has come to pass.

[@Wernher] Yeah, Estialan is a single continent, nothing else around it except for the sea and waters beyond. It's mostly because this roleplay is more of a toned down version of Game of Thrones in its gigantic world aspect.
