That's how he carries his meager belongings. As for traveling supplies, that's a nope, and there's a good reason for that. Maulakanth is way too proud to sleep in the wilderness like some kind of [i]barbarian.[/i] He did travel a lot, but mostly from employer to employer -- and he always demanded a place to stay, one of the reasons they all disliked him. If he was freelancing, he'd sleep in an inn. His latest position with the count of Meir Thorvale was supposed to be a (semi-)permanent appointment.
