Force CS Force Name: 903rd Marauders i.warosu.org/data/tg/img/0317/01/13985.. Force Type: Storm trooper Company (Tempestus Scions) History: The 903rd have a history stretching back over five centuries of honourable service to the Emperor. In that time far too many battles have fought and too many men died to properly list them all. Suffice to say the 903rd has whetted it's blade against nearly every foe that avail's themselves against the Imperium's obvious and unquestionable right to rule. From The Black slavers of Commorragh to Chaos cults of the most unimaginably vile depths of depravity to butchering Eldar exodites to make way for Imperial colonization efforts, And splinter fleets from Tyranid hive invasions. In particular the orks have proven to be a common target for this particular company. Battling the greenskins in so many different theatres has left it's impression on the companies preferred tactics and mindset of it's commander. It also gives them good experience when combating the greenskins as they are familiar with many orcish tactics and ways of thinking. Allowing them to more easily outmanoeuvre and decapitate their leadership. Throwing the rest of the horde into disarray and infighting. Most missions undertaken by elements of the Tempestus Militarum are top secret and the specifics cannot be divulged to anyone other than inquisitors themselves. Suffice to say the 903rd may not be the oldest regiment in the Imperial guard but they have constantly proved their valour time and time again. Headquarters: An unnamed desert planet serves as the primary training ground for the 903rd and other Scion units. It is a deliberately harsh world who's wildlife and climate are particularly hazardous to ones health and well being. It acts more as a morbid crucible than an actual world anyone would ever consider inhabiting. A dreary place that only serves to weed out the weak and the slow from the ranks of the Tempestus Militarum in as brutally efficient and mentally scarring a manner as possible. Strength: Approx 4000~ Troopers. 350~ Armoured personel carriers. (Mixture of Taurox primes & chimera's) Miscillanious number of enginseers, layworkers and support personel Favoured heavy weapons Hellgun volley gun Hades pattern MkIII backpack flamer Their regiment has also earned the right to very special equipment. To help facilitate their combat roll of rapid armoured strikes. Many of their hellguns have underslung grenade launchers. Making each individual exceedingly lethal and versatile on the battle field. Tactics: Being a small size forces the 903rd into more of a strike force/response unit. With a fleet of armoured Tauroxes moving them too and fro they are capable of rapidly responding to a situation. Whether that be plugging a hole on the front line, reinforcing a defensive action against an enemy push or riding out to unload and lay waste to enemy depots and fortified positions and then retreat again before enemy reinforcements have a chance to arrive. They work best in tandum with other Imperial units. Particularly infantry regiments of the imperial guard or PDF. Supporting their pushes, helping to clear the way for the main invasion force. Or sometimes using the larger regiment as a distraction while they send surgical teams to assassinate, destroy or retrieve items of note. They also liberally use Flamers and grenade launchers and other explosives when the time calls. Many teams will have one member equipped with a Hades MkIII pattern flamer. It is a useful weapon, light enough for a flame weapon to still allow it's user to move quickly and powerful enough to still be as deadly as any other model. The Marauders like to use them for the psycological aspects. To have three armoured trucks con barrelling through your lines, discharging thirty heavily armed and armoured men. Fire and ionized beams of light filling the air with cracks and crackles. It often throws the enemy completely into panicked chaos. Allowing the troopers to pick off their targets with ease and overwhelm whatever small pockets of resistance try to form. By the time the enemy force can send a reinforcement team the area is already empty. Littered with dead and wounded strewn amongst roasted weapon encampments, bunkers blown from the inside out and munition & supply piles burnt to useless crisps. Mortal enemy: Orks

General Staff Name: Jozan Vaughn Rank: Commissar (Defacto second in command) Equipment: Heavy carapace armour, auto pistol, Chainsword Personality: Commissar Vaughn's time with the scions has hardened him. Most storm troopers become very dour and sullen as time marches on. Their very purpose is to be used in the most desperate and dirty situations. They see and often commit acts that would drive most men mad with guilt or disgust. And Vaughn despite his youthful energy and outlook has started to become jaded from his experiences alongside the men of the 903rd. An inevitability, he came to realize. Even his his short span with the company totalling less than ten years he has seen more than most would ever want to. And then some. But despite his youth and inexperience he has proven to be quite a capable addition to the company. A fighting force as rigidly disciplined as the 903rd rarely if ever has one of it's own punished more minor infractions and he has never even come close to the situation where he would need to have anyone executed. Not having to worry about his commissarial duties left him a lot of time to devote to the art of real leadership and combat. And he took all opportunities to learn what he could from the very experienced officers of the company. And it's commander. He learned quickly and the men in turned learned that they could rely on him both in a fight and to not order then needlessly to their deaths. And while Vaughn will never hold the respect and power of authority that the Tempestor prime position holds. He can be a capable field commander in his own right. And were anything to happen to the tempestor Prime, his stepping into the command roll would be a fairly painless transition for the men.

Leader CS Name: Uskar, a name he only uses because people find using his proper alpha-numerical designation to be unnerving and impersonal. Gender: Male Race: Human Rank: Tempestor Prime Personality: A stern commander that is in every way the very face of what is means to be a Scion.... If he didn't keep his face hidden behind a rebreather mask and goggles, and his beret. Things he never really takes off in public. Or seemingly at all. Ever. Or that is what those around him think. He gives no reason and no excuses for this when attending meetings or acting with laison. He simply chooses not to show his face. Which often leads to a great number of rumours about him from other imperial guard units they fight alongside. When coupled with his near humourlessness and almost unnatural air of calm he maintains regardless of how insane or out of control a situation might seem at the time. It makes the most common theory by enlisted men that he is some kind of adeptus mechanicus servitor skitarii in disguise. His men, who do stand beside and work alongside regular IG regiments more often than most scions. Refuse to comment about their commander's personality, history or appearance. Either ignoring the topic altogether or firmly putting an end to any questions. What is known about his personality beside being borderline robotic at parties. Is that he is quite capable and daring on the field. He knows the strengths of his men and utilizes that to the fullest. And he isn't afraid to take dangerous risks if the situation warrants which are often considered crazy by his superiors. Bio: Equipment/weapons: Master crafted Heavy carapace armour, Power sword, Master crafted auto-pistoll Heavily personalized and modified to help compensate or negate the weapons natural flaws. Often uses specialty ammunition based on the expected situation he will be fighting in. His command vehicle is Chimera fitted with extra armour plating on all sides, even the underside to protect from mines, It does away with the side mounted lasguns and even the main armament cannon in favour of more armour and sheeding weight and space for the internal components. It does still have a heavy bolter in the secondary armament position The interior is basically a mobile command and control centre with a powerful vox and auger relay unit. Even a small holo map. All of this extra equipment means there are only four people that can actually fit Inside. Himself, two gunners and a specialist to work the vox and auger relay system.
