[@Spoopy Scary] The Eight Divines (The imperial Eight) are a fusion of Nordic and the Altmeri Pantheons. Whom mind you share most of the Gods, none are specifically human save Talos. The Altmer believe themselves descended from the Divines, not Created by them as Men do. 

Which is the only contention right now religiously between the Dominion and the Empire is Talos worship and the before mentioned Created/Descended.

Also I cheekily never mentioned him worshiping [i]Nine[/i] divines. Simply Auri-El (Akatosh) and Stendarr.
