Melanie didn't bother to hide her admiration of Meg's transfiguration skills. It was a subject that stumped her personally and she had always been impressed by the Ravenclaw's skill in the subject though she never would have considered approaching her directly about it before. 
[color=MediumSlateBlue]"I have the feeling that refusal on my part would be somewhat foolish, no?"[/color] she quirked an eyebrow at the Ravenclaw as she joined her in the seats, momentarily distracted by the captains' speeches. The absence of the Gryffindor captain did not pass her notice. 

Her brow furrowed.
