Hahaha— I’m sorry, but you couldn’t be any more wrong on this one. 

If your only comprehensive understanding of Sonic the Hedgehog is from the games, then you don’t really any perspective that’s worth much. Not only is Sonic the Hedgehog what got me into role-playing in the first place, but even removing whatever bias I have this statement is not true in the slightest. With over five animated series, a two-episode OVA, two successful comic book franchises, and yes the games that have consistently developed over the course of over twenty years there is a [i]lot[/i] to Sonic the Hedgehog as a form and most certainly enough to warrant a fandom by even your standards. Even when I got into RPing at Sonic HQ and Team Artail in 2001 there was enough. The various universes and interpretations of Sonic the Hedgehog have enough lore to validate its fandom. I’ve read both comics since 1995, and believe me when I tell you that you have no idea how massive it actually is.
