I do not admire that lady at all. Once, her kid was spewing shit in school to make my mom sound like a child abuser on me, and how her mom (the lady) and herself were the reason my mom didn't beat me to death. Inevitably, people regarded them as saint and angel.

I grew up in a traditional Asian family where corporeal punishment is the norm, and I always knew I reaped what I sowed (was a rebellious teen).

I almost lost my mom because of her lies and exaggeration! When I confronted the kid? She cried and denied all allegations. Then her mom - the lady! - looked me in the eye and said, [b]"Even if my daughter did say such things, what are you going to do about it? You wanna fight her? Beat me instead!!"[/b]

Unbelievable! Right in front of my mom, too! Who keeps in contact with friends like these?! My mom! My stupid, forgiving, soft-hearted mom!
