(LATTTERRR) Kiro started doing some warm-up stretches on the platform, as he tried to avoid eye contact with the opponent across from him. This was his first actual fight, and he was pretty nervous that he was going to find out that he actually wasn't as strong as his two comrades. The boy tried to shake the thought away, but he just couldn't help it! The both of them seemed so strong, and he wondered where he was on the scale. The referee awkwardly coughed. "Are you ready yet, sir?" He asked for the fifth time, Kiro had been doing stretches for ten minutes straight, the referee was positive he had completely loosened up every muscle imaginable. His blonde opponent rolled her eyes, her arms crossed. She almost felt bad, the kid seemed pretty nervous. She wouldn't let this fool her, though, she saw his friends fight. This was all apart of their fighting style to have their opponent underestimating them. Did he think she was stupid!? She started to angrily grind her teeth, as she clenched her fists. "Hurry up already! quit stalling!" She yelled at him, as it echoed through the entire room. "Oh!" Kiro felt embarrassed now, as he quickly stood up straight. "Y-Yes! I'm ready now!" He may have talked a big talk, but this was pretty scary for him. He had fought Akita and Ally before, but these were strangers! He had no idea what they'd have in store! And the fact that Master Roshi never actually taught them any real fighting techniques didn't really help his confidence all that much. He put both his arms up in front of him, resembling a turtle, as he tried to keep his arms up high to block. "Begin!" The referee shouted, as the bell rang. The elderly man slowly inched to the outskirts of the ring so he could observe the battle. Unlike some of the skilled fighters before him, Kiro immediately charged at his opponent, his right fist outstretched in front of him. "AHHHHH!" He screamed, his eyes closed tightly, with his head held low. Kiro knew he made impact, but he figured it hadn't hurt her all that much, so he kept his eyes closed, and waited for the punches that were sure to come. "Win by ring-out! Fighter number 12 continues on to the next round!" Kiro heard the referee announce. "Wait...What!?" Kiro said aloud, as he opened a single a eye, slowly lifting his head to see what had actually happened. Fighter number 11, his opponent, had flown right through the wall! She had indeed blocked the predictable attack, but it was so powerful, it pushed right through to knock her completely out of bounds. "I-I won?" Kiro tried to confirm, but after seeing the cheerful smiles on his friends' face, he knew it was exactly what it looked like. "Hmph." Kiro smirked, pretending as if he knew the entire time. "I only threw her out of the building? Is that all?" He laughed, as he began to quite confidently walk down from the stage. He held his hand out high to try and get a high five from both Ally and Akita. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (I'm going to skip a little ahead, since everyone's gotten a chance to roleplay a bit here. You guys can still post your fights if you want, but you know.) And so our heroes continued to plow through the competition with ease, winning one fight after another. Kiro become much more confident with each and every fight, finally realizing just how powerful he actually was! He hadn't even used any of his secret techniques yet! It was now time for one of the last deciding matches, plenty of fighters had gathered around the ring, as both of these fighters had been taking out the competition one after another. "Will fighters number 126 and 139 please come to the ring?" The referee called for them both of the fighters, as he stood in the center of the ring. "I'm right here." Master Rosh-, Jackie Chun calmly informed, as he climbed up onto the ring. "Keep in mind that this is the last fight in the first section of block D. The winner of this fight will move on to be one of the the eight finalists for the tournament." The referee reminded them of the stakes. Jackie Chun sighed, as he bowed his head, he almost didn't want to go through with this. Ally had been training so long for this, but it was the only way to keep her training just as hard. He got in his classic drunken monkey fighting style, a stern look on his face. He knew this would have to be a serious match, Ally's level was too close to his for him to be messing around like usual.
