@Fizzy - That was an incredible post! I'll be writing an interstitial narrative post for what happens after our friend the guardian spirit gets hit by an angry demon-frog (That is not a sentence I ever expected to have to write), but that will very likely be tomorrow. :3

Don't anyone wait up on me, though, if you've something you're wrapping up right now!

The post is probably gonna involve some home troubles on Jacob's part, single father disappointing his daughter and whatnot

Thanks guys! Looking back on it more refreshed it wasn't as bad as I thought, might still go and edit some stuff but not as much a priority as I feared it would be ^^

@vietmyke - Aww! I thought we'd be interrupting Jacob's home life. Amanda's going to grow up with a lot of awkward feelings about the PHI crew. Something I'll mention, though - this is taking place at around 2:00am in mid-May, and dawn is around 5:00am. The only thing I'm certain that would change for your post is the idea of morning sunlight, but I don't know if that'll affect how Jacob feels about getting back to Amanda (From an out-of-character and narrative perspective, unless Jacob makes the decision to go back home, there's probably going to be enough interesting things to keep him away from Amanda anyway :( ). Otherwise, I still feel bad about about him and his family, and I liked the post!

@Naril oh no I fully intend on having Jacob have to call home later on in the day and cancel on dinner as well. Because breaking a little girl's heart is the best way to pull on people's heartstrings

The next GM post is going to go up tomorrow - It's getting slightly involved, and I'm having to make sure all the moving parts are aligned the way I want them to be. Different points of view, fragmentary information, Morgan going flying through the air. It's all very exciting.

I will say that while this scene looks like it will be combat-focused (And I encourage you to have some fun with that if you like), dealing with the guardian spirit is sort of the wrapper around the narrative chocolate-covered-cherry I'm going to be laying out for y'all. :3 This part isn't exactly supposed to be silly, but I want it to be fun - but you've all really gotten on board, so I don't know why I'm telling you that again. :3

Hi, all! This is just a check-in post to let you know I haven't forgotten or been neglecting you, I swear! I hit a few stumbling blocks, so @Naril was nice enough to help me out. Mandy's location will also be revealed in the shiny new GM post. I really enjoyed reading everyone's intros so far! :3

Edit: There we are!

If I could be so bold as to offer a suggestion - I expect Rob or Jacob knows how to hot-wire a car, and there are cars in the lot and, well. It may be that I've seen Fury Road too recently, but I think there's some serious entertainment in trying to hit this thing with a car.

Also, again, feel free to have some fun with this creature - I'll trust you to damage, attack, make things up about, or whatever it on your own. The only thing I'm definitely going to control his how you manage to "kill" it - and, as a hint, you don't actually have to do that.

Now that I'm sure I've confused all of you, I'm off to bed!

There is no posting order for this thread, so if you have things you want to do - back-and-forth between characters, extending the narrative, whatever, go ahead and do that. I'm happy to inject "GM posts" when they're appropriate, of course. :3

I left the outcome of my post to a GM desicion @Naril as you seem to have a good idea of the ways and means of overcoming the guardian so I didn't want to write something that would step on your narrative toes, so to speak.
