[@Fetzen] Ah yes, it makes sense. Yet, I kept the world very vague because I wanted to invite world-building outside of what is known as the Whispering Badlands, to let players influence the characters. I will say it be as much as you wish within reason, if you want your character to come from a nation under one monarch or perhaps from a government that is a theocracy, so be it. As for my character's homeland and such, it will be revealed in references throughout the roleplay. But thanks for asking, it is a good question. And I like your idea of the navigator :) The thought of her being an ex-sailor and Emmett hating ships and sailing is quite funny to me, especially due to fact that he gets easily sick on the sea.
