I would save Vlad Types for a much bigger role than being some overseer watching slaves lol. You should want him as Bram's arch enemy. Like maybe that overseer could have secretly been one of Vlad's servants. Thus Beam discovers his calling in this life. I think it is cool because he's reliving his own book as a reality.
