Keri watched both fighters part from each other, nodding her head at the retreating Meirin, before turning her attention back at Annabeth. The vampire was glad her friend went to the healer since she was rather beaten on. The young woman stayed near the scattered gear patiently waiting for the human to return. When the woman returned she began gathering her things though there was still blood showing from the least major injuries. A familiar smile was produced after all the gear was gather forcing Keri to chuckle. It was just like Annabeth to get hurt and still be able to smile afterwards.[color=a187be]"Hello Ker-bear. What are you doing out here? Or did you want to train?"[/color] the vampire raised an eyebrow wondering when the woman had come up with that one, not that she hated the nickname. 

The human still seemed disappointed that the shield was still in one piece instead of being reforged into something else. It was a good suggestion yet it didn't feel right in a way. Not after recent events. The shield was more of a reminder that Keri was no longer alone. That there were other's there to help when she herself was unable to keep going by herself. The excuse the vampire had said was that there was no point in changing something that wasn't broken.[color=a187be]"I'd love to show you a thing or two, but I'm still a bit sore from sparring Meirin.
