Also, i thought i would mention, the other magic that he would be using such as necromancy or any other spells would be more ritualistic. he would be very hard pressed to use any kind of magic in the middle of combat. he would only be able to make quick jabs to the body or mind. Summoning a greater undead creature or a fireball would take some kind of preparation. much like the witch character.
