Personality: Melany is still young and inexperienced with most of the world around her. She's eager to learn and anxious to prove her parent's lack of faith in her was completely wrong. She's an extremely caring person who'll do whatever she can to help those close to her. However Melany is nothing if not practical and won't hold back if its her, her loved ones, or someone innocent whose in danger.

History: Melanie was born to two loving parents who always hid something from her. Every day , for as long as she could remember she'd find them in the mornings looking towards the East, longing in their eyes. This went on till one day she woke up alone in a forest with a piece of paper and a kunai. It was in her father's hand writing. He explained who they really were, members of a clan assassins who'd escaped the old life when they learned her mother was pregnant. They missed their homeland and planned on taking her back, but first she needed to be ready, and so began her training.
The first month was survival in some ancient woods without anyone but herself for company. As far as forest went it wasn't especially dangerous, but there were always threats. Occasionally she'd find a note with tips, or loving words of encouragement from her parents. One time she got a new scarf for her birthday but that was it. After that her parents brought her back home and the real training began. This included four hours of intense physical training, four hours learning the ninja arts and ways, two hours studying biology, medicine, and chemistry, and an hour of intense meditations in the mornings, and the rest of the day would be spent on chores or if time allowed a walk through town.
One day her parents had a strange look on their faces. They told her to go town and gave her a long list of items she should pick up. She did, and upon her return she found both parents gone. The house had been burned down to the ground by such an intense fire even the stones were turned to dust. There was lots of blood and bodies but she didn't recognize any of them. Eventually she discovered a note that had been placed inside a deep gash one of her parents left. Their clan had found them and had taken them. There was money hidden nearby. She shouldn't try and find them. Since she wasn't blooded into the clan, the clan had no interest in her. She should enjoy what life she could have now. They were sorry to leave her and only regretted never showing her their homeland.
So she gathered her things, weapons and gear which was kept hidden a few miles away in an old cave, grab her money and set out to find her parents.

Fighting style: As one trained in the art of the ninja Melany is willing to do almost anything for a victory with the exception of fighting fair. She focuses on surprise attacks, misdirection, and doing whatever she can to tip the scales in her favor as opposed to fighting her enemy head on. Kicking in the peaches, yanking off the banana, injuring a target's ally, etc, etc are all within her range of acceptable battle behavior.
Her primary weapons are a pair of kunai she keeps on her hips at all time, which she's profficient enough with to fight skilled swordsmen head on(which she'd rather not do.) She also carries around the smaller versions of the kunais to use as projectiles.
However, possibly the most dangerous aspect of her fighting stems from her knowledge of chemicals and the effects that have on the human body. She always carries around bombs of her own construction to. The most consistently used of these are: flash bangs, fire bombs, stink bombs, and smoke bombs.
