Aww man. I needed it to be 6 years+ because of the time jump.
Dissonance needs to be there to push Vega's power growth to be able to do the time jump but Dissonance won't get her powers for another 3 years...

So now, the only way that I can prevent a time inconsistency would be alternate universes. In Vega's original universe; the one where Dissonance got her powers around the same time Vega did (to build the rivalry) and then in this current universe that Vega is trapped in (The current one we're role playing in) is where Dissonance doesn't remember Vega (Because they never fought) because she only got her abilities 3 years ago and undertook the combat training.

P.S. I appreciate your patience with me and I hope that I am not annoying you with these questions. I just want to bang out all of the inconsistencies before I start writing the backstory and it's too late to fix it.
