@Aquaknight About the same. The Mechs mentioned are the equivalent to Omnics. Guns are just as advanced, shooting much faster and much more powerfully, and police guns operate similar to Winston's weapon, shooting electricity rather than bullets. Cars hover rather than roll etc :)
Can't have an Overwatch inspired without pointlessly hovering cars ;D
But on a more serious note, thanks for the heads up~ But for a character I was thinking of making a young veteran who was part of the original Sentinels, I was planning on making them the youngest Sentinel when they first joined it. Ever since their retirement from the Sentinels I was planning on making them a famous scientist who became a scientist after the war once they got more free time to study what got to join the Sentinels. I'm planning for this character to be a astrophysicist who paved the way for gravity manipulation on a much smaller scale. They can create miniture black holes, control gravity on a small scale and rip space and time itself to create wormholes with their weapon, it also shoots gravity aumented bullets so it can shoot faster and harder then a normal bullet which I'm guessing is all but useless now with more advancements in armor. I hope that is okay~
@Lmpkio Love all the ideas :D The pirate one seems especially interesting :)
@Aquaknight I love it :D I think my first character would be really interested in him. He's a character with abilities based off of Tracer. He can teleport around, rather than move through time, but similar affect. Anyways, both his parents were former Sentinels, so they'd probably have known your character if you go that route :P
Also, here's the current CS if you guys would like to begin work on characters. It isn't set in stone yet, but if any changes are made to it, me or Blue will let you guys know :D
@smarty0114 Okay, I'm not one to judge, but do we really need likes, dislikes, habits/whatever and personality when they could all be covered by personality?

It just seems redundant.
Im going to be honest, I have to agree with him. Personality will cover all of this. It's already a big character sheet anyways so
@Lmpkio@Mr Allen J I get that it's seems like a big character sheet (Although a good deal of the questions are one word answers), and it does seem kind of redundant, but in my opinion, if you're willing to go through the trouble of thinking about what your character likes, dislikes, or does out of habit, then it shows me you're dedicated to the roleplay, and that you really understand your character. If you're dead set on getting rid of those parts, then I would expect to see them show up in the personality section.
And here's finally my character! She was actually very fun to make lol

While still having good vision in both eyes, she wears an eyepatch on her right eye, which secretly comes with enhanced vision to that eye, that allows her to zoom in on unsuspecting opponents and calculate distance. When in action, a red streak crosses diagonally down from it, signifying that it’s in use.

Personality
Jeanne’s personality is rather opposite on what you think she might be. As a hardcore tomboy, as well as being raised in a mostly male environment, she sometimes thinks she’s not even a woman to begin with. In fact, she’s what you mostly expect on how a male pirate would usually act. With her carefree and jolly attitude, as well as being quite bossy, she’s really at home with commanding her crew of men and comrades. She is also known for being very snarky towards authority at times, especially if she gets drunk, and has been known to be a troublemaker from time to time. Despite this, she is usually a very optimistic one, always looking on the bright side of life. Don’t make Jeanne angry though, otherwise you’ll be looking into the barrel of her own pistol.
It is also due to being raised with men was how she developed a taste in woman first, but eventually finding herself with men as well, hence her bisexual status.
"If there’s anything I learned about bein’ a pirate, it’s one thing. When life knocks you down, calmly get up, smile, and very politely say… ‘You hit like a bitch!’"
Origins
Background
Jeanne Vicky Jones’ life was a rather interesting one. She was born in Dublin, Ireland, where her father was basically a modern pirate. He had an entire crew at his command, whom he called the Silver Jacket, as well as a fancy ship for them to sail in named the Silver Bullet. Jeanne usually stayed with her uncle when growing up, only participating in her father’s crew at the age of fourteen, where she became second command to her father. They all had a wonderful time together and an exciting one none of the less.
During the War, she and her father’s crew were usually neutral to both sides, not taking a part of either side. That however changed when they were attacked by a small patrol ship that belonged to The Emperors Entente. According to them, the crew was “trespassing” into enemy territory (it was found out later a new superweapon was built on a nearby island). However, Captain Jones’ crew refused to retreat and hence the enemy ship fired upon them. A small skirmish took place on that day, both suffering severe damage to both of their ships. However, Jeanne’s father was hit by a stray bullet, killing him on the spot. The enraged daughter then took command as they found an opening and boarded their ship, killing everyone on board. They then sunk it, getting back on their own ship and retreated back to safety. It ended in a draw...
It was indeed a painful loss for the Silver Jacket to loose the captain, especially for his daughter. Despite this, Jeanne tried to look on the bright side of life, taking complete control of the crew and continuing to sail the seven seas. Over the years, she became a very experienced captain, giving her a name within pirate legends as she makes her home within the more hidden islands of the Caribbean. She and her crew became pirate mercenaries working simply for money and fame, pillaging enemy ships, her favorites being those of the Emperor’s Entente, and receiving nice new tech for their arsenal and ship. Eventually, Jeanne heard about the Sentinels being reformed and made a choice that would change her life forever. Saying goodbye to her crew, passing it down to a close mate of her’s, she left and joined the Sentinels. If her father were here… he would’ve probably have been quite proud.
Place of Origin
Dublin, Ireland
Family
Jeanne can only remember her father, who was a well-known pirate throughout the land in which he sailed. He was a tall and proud man, with a thick grey beard, blue eyes, and had a pretty hefty build to him. He also had an eyepatch, with a hook on his left hand. Jeanne’s mother died very early on in her life, so she knows very little about her. According to her father, she was a beautiful young lady, with curvy red hair and brown eyes and was a nurse for a major hospital.
Abilities
Dual Blast: Jeanne rapid-fires both of her pistols.
Tsunami Charge: With her melee weapon out, Jeanne charges towards her enemy with quick agility and speed, dodging most incoming shots in the process, and slices at them.
Molotov Cocktail: Jeanne throws a molotov cocktail at her enemies, catching the opponent on fire, as well as the surrounding location. The cocktail also does splash damage that catches other people on fire in a short radius.
Raging Typhoon: As her ultimate ability, Jeanne takes a swig of some strong alcohol and goes on a drunken rage. Her strength goes up by 50%, making her attacks twice as strong for any weapon she wields.
Weapons
Jeanne wields two custom dual PTE-900 Blaster Pistols as her primary weapons. She can fire around thirty shots per usage before having them cool down for ten seconds.
As her melee weapon, Jeanne has a special carbon sword that she stole from when she was breaking out of prison. It’s a powerful sword that can slice through metal and is surprisingly lightweight. This makes the sword very easy to hand and can issue lightning quick strikes with a powerful effect.
1. A dude from England that's basically the The Invisible Man from that one novel. His style will be stealth, and taking out threats quickly and silently.
2. A dude based off Afro-Samurai. He'll have a katana, and a revolver, and he'll be all about getting close to enemies, and deflecting their bullets.
Hello, I'd like to throw my interest in this RP. I've been excited since BlueAjah told me about it (ironically I was playing Overwatch at the time). I hope you have room for a me.
