[@Muffinator]Baby-Doll Eyes is a low-level move (level 9 I think?), so chances are it probably either started out with it already or learned it pretty soon after their journey started.

Added a very basic background. It's not finished by any means, as I'm probably gonna turn in for the night pretty soon and will write a background with some more detail tomorrow. But the basic gist is that Shane comes from Dewey City, had an older cousin (Janet) who herself was an accomplished Eevee trainer. When her Leafeon and Glaceon produced an Egg she decided to give it to Shane as a birthday present right around the time he was getting ready to receive his Trainer license.
