[b]Background:[/b] Raised in a family of coordinators, Niko grew up knowing that the bond between a pokemon and their trainor was sacred and never to be wasted. With this belief it was only natural for him to nearly breakdown and convince his parents to let him take in an abandoned Mienfoo whom had been abused by her previous trainer. Since taking Ranmao into his care, Niko discovered that he wanted to learn how different pokemon behave and how a person's bond with them can affect that behavior.
