Right. Completely unlike people who share a last name.

There are two reasons to preserve the current system. The first is cultural, which I have already laid out the case for, and the second is practical. The constitutional monarchy system [i]works[/i], excellently so; nearly every single one of the most democratic and otherwise most capably governed countries in the world follows the same example followed by Canada. It is an effective system, legally and politically, and any replacement is more likely to be inferior than superior.
