Katherin had no real answer for that. She had lived in a lot of places. Her wings made it hard for her to go unnoticed. Which was why she had given herself up volunteerily. She figured it would be easier then trying to hide. Besides she had been tried of hiding and being alone. The facility seemed like a good way to meet people like her.
