Students entered the store and joined the chaos of the store, but he stood in the corner until eventually, all of the measuring tapes finished their measurements and sped behind the counter to do... whatever it is that magical measuring tapes do. He looked around at the rest of the students, clearly excited from everything that was going on. Suddenly, he noticed something felt off about the group. Wasn't there two identical twins in here? Even if he had gone quiet for a moment, two girls who looked almost exactly alike wasn't an observation that went under his radar. He examined the group and found that while one still remained, the other was unseen. He left the group of first-years and looked around the store, but he still did not see her. Looking to the store front, he saw her. Curled up into a fetal position, he watched her and felt a strange feeling in his gut. It wasn't pity and it wasn't guilt; it felt more like the girl almost radiated a sort of... empty space. Leaving the shop, he joined her on the front steps of the shop and remained silent, simply sitting down beside her. Once he was situated, he gave her a few moments before quietly saying, "I understand." He kept his gaze on the street, looking at some of the passing wizards. He smiled as he thought of how perspective could change one's understanding entirely. Maybe they think that we're friends or siblings, but they would never guess that we don't even know each other's names. So he sat, silently, as the world turned and lives went on and two kids sat on the steps of a clothing store.
