Ever been turned down or had a relationship fall apart for being "too nice"?

I have.

So my ex never had a car to drive and we worked at the same business complex, so I used to drop her off home. When she broke it off because she said I was too nice and too helpful, one thing she was annoyed about was me driving her home all the time.

Um... It saved you a 45min bus trip, I got to spend time with you and it was a 2 street detour. So how is that too helpful or too nice? :confused 

[@Frettzo] For the record, I don't want kids. Not every relation needs to have them.
