"CONCEPT STAGE - INVERSE CASTLE" Sakuya heard as they revealed the stage they would be doing the match on. It was a complicated piece of work easily one of the more archaic ones as well straying from the standard modern and sci fi ones that was known for a fantasy setting. The entire field being upside down meaning traversing the stage was going to be hard but also the fact that the entire thing was maze like with complex turns in a circular fashion. The central spire was easily the largest it had multiple openings with the inverted pathways connecting to other spires. Shaking her head she put on her helmet and clutched her now cloaked gunpla the dark brown cloth covering her gunpla's features behind the dark shadow it cast.

"PLEASE PREPARE FOR THE MATCH" Sakuya heard the overly cheerful voice of the now hollywood star Kirara hearing that she walked forward towards the stage. "It looks like the first pilot approaches this mysterious maiden choosing to grab herself in the iconic pilot suit of one Tieria Erde may I introduce this lovely maiden known as Raimu" She heard the "italian dandy" go on as she than heard the resounding smack of Kirara more than likely trying to get him to end his over theatrics.

Alexis snickered a little when she heard Fellini getting smacked. Her attention then turned to the concept field. It was interesting to say the least, but it looked like the majority of the battles would be indoors. "Hey Dani" Alexi said as she opened her Gunpla case, and pulling out her Viper Gundam. "Remember this guy?" Alexis asked, showing Dani the Gunpla.

She doubted Dani remembered it, and even if she did, last time she saw it, it was far from finished, hell, the glue was barely dry when it was first deployed.

Dani smirked, staring at the female. "It's cute, seems a tad bit more finished since we last fought." teased Dani. She looked down at the two tubes at her waist. "i'm still torn on who to us-..." she stopped and stared at the fighter entering the stage. "And you two bagged on me for wearing domon's suit.... least he's got a level of badass that's impossible to compare to..." she said to Alexis. "Oh well. Time to get out there." she said and stood up, walking out.

"And now we have our next Fight the Lo-...." he began and dani shot a glance up at him. "-aaaaaabs contestant, Dani Hatashi! Give the newly walking girl a round of applause!" Fellini nervously said over the announcements.

Dani went and placed a darkened tube on the launcher and waited.

"Amazing what a coat of paint, and a bit of tweaking can do for a build." Alexis said as she walked not far behind Dani.

"And the last contestant for Team A is Alexis Voll, a long to fixture on the US Circuit and current US champion!" Kirara announced as Alexis set the Viper in the launcher, also taking note of the costumed fighter. Alexis sighed 'Not sure the point of the disguise Sakuya, we already know who's on what team.' she thought as she got ready to go.

"I have taken the Viper out for a spin in a while, so this'll be fun."

Sakuya couldnt help but sigh she was unsure on why she decided to bet but in the end here she was wearing this pilot suit. Supposedly it was a upgraded version from what happened at the earlier world championship tournament and function like the embody system with the newly discovered assimilation. Still she supposed at least it wasnt as tacy as the suit Aila wore for the embod functions. Still Alan he was a good man she supposed a bit eccentric but good. Looking forward she spotted the other team. The new "samurai boy" was first he was the champion of the kanto region. Second was the sinanju user the China's champion finally was the user of the virtue a odd person to say the least but he was technically Canada's representative. The field was already project the inverted city was massive in size with many spires coming from the base and forming a twisted castle. The battle was on it seemed "Raimu Launching" she muttered as her cloak covered seravee launched forward landing on one of the many bridges that filled the castle now to try and meet up with the others she thought as she moved forward into the closest spire.

Alexis set her GP base, and the HYD activated around her, the usual blue lasted only a few second before it turned gold. The indication that Assimilation was active. Alexis Stretched a bit and shed her coat before going any further.

"Viper Gundam, Strike." Alexis said as the Gunpla was launched in to the field, falling in next to Sakuya's cloaked Gunpla, she was already going over what she knew about her opponents, trying to decide what would be best, 3 1v1 matches? That would keep them occupied enough to keep them from interfering with her team if one of them needed aid, but the same was true for her team as well. Or, if one big 3v3 melee was best.

"What do you guys think, break em up into 3 duels or keep em together?" she asked after a moment or two,

Dani's tube opened up and it revealed a modified grimoire, definitely not a top of the line suit, but the craftsmanship on it was verymuch telltale of the Labs contestant. "Stay within range of helping one another, but i say break them into duels, it'll be easiest to handle that way." Dani said from her fighting tube. Out of all the suits they had seen of the day, her's truly looked the weakest based off of the base suit.

"Very well lets meet up at the central spire" Sakuya spoke up her voice coming out as melodious and uplifting due to a voice changer in the helmet. With that said she cut connection and charged her seravee forward the central spire in sight she kept her eyes out not seeing anything in sight right away. It seemed the other team taken to splitting up each striking their own path and trying their way through the maze that the spires provided. Reaching her destination she stayed in a corner out of sight waiting for either her Dani and Alexis or the enemy to arrive.

Alexis followed Sakuya to the central spire, and after reach the spire she broke off and found her own hiding spot in an archway about in the middle of the area, though higher up with the general plan of 'surprise attack from above' being her 'go to' opening move.

Dani just blatantly walked into the middle of the room with her rifle stored on the sie of her backpack. There were several sword on her gunpla along with the rifle and a combat knife.There were also a few beam emmiters that the suit had, undersides of the arms and front of the legs, but most noticeable on the grimoire was the skill face and extra armor bits. they all looked like they had been parts either salvaged or just thrown on, but still beautiful in thier own way.
She made no efforts to hide, just standing and waritng for the enemy to show up in a proper dueling fashion.

The pilot cursed once more this stage was more trouble than he thought with its twisting spires and maze like structure it made finding anything hard by walking or following the paths. Eventually he thankfully managed to find the central spire it was the largest spire easily being able to fit a few mobile armors in it. Seeing the grimoire he smirked despite its grim design he was sure he would be able to win. Taking out one of the four katanas his suit carried he landed and pointed it towards the grimoire. Meanwhile the Sinanju pilot was currently setting a trap it was kind of underhanded but he managed to rig a the spire left of the central one to fire multiple shots from a hidden bazooka. Now all he had to do was sit and wait. The pilot of the virtue however was having a hard time due to how his suit was configured for ground combat so such the large amount of flying and thin pathways was less than ideal. Deciding to go in guns blazing went in to the central spire firing a warning shot from his bazooka causing a hole to hit the wall opposite of it.

Sakuya sighed as she saw the large beam hit and destroy the wall causing a large amount of light to flood in sadly it revealed her position and seeing no other choices she gripped on of the gn bazookas of the seravee and collapsed the bridge the virtue was standing on.

Alexis watched as a Hyakyuren custom challenged Dani's Grimoire, and the Virtue can in, beam cannons blazing, Alexis turn her attention to the Shinaju, which seemed to be hiding and laying in wait for an ambush.

Alexis thought about how to deal with this, and then grinned. "Hey, Sakuya, you, may want to whip out what ever melee weapons you have on that thing, just saying, it'll be a better option then the beam cannons." Alexis said, still smirking in the display, before the Viper, hopped out of its hiding place and darting toward the Shinaju, the gold trim on her Gunpla releasing a bright flash and then simply glowing, then drawing her Greater Fangs going in for draw strike on her opponent.

Dani smirked, pulling out a beamsaber from each side of her backpack, making it two pink sabers deploying. She got into a defensive stand, casually moving slightly out of the way and dodging the shot from the virtue, which was a bit too close for comfort. She moved forwars and spun, aiming to strike out with one of the sabers, but hold her defense with the second one ready to parry anything that got close.

"Heh should have known it wouldn't have fooled you Alexis but ill explain everything after the battle." Sakuya said as she quickly charged after the virtue who relocated to a northern spire. Listening to Alexis's advice she pulled out twin heat sabers that was hidden in the front of the legs by the over sized armor. Taking a wide stance the black blades started to glow before becoming a bright orange charging forward Sakuya quickly batted the bazooka which was trying to fire at a exposed Alexis.

As Alexis charged in the Shinaju, it clearly tried to open fire on her, but just as Alexis had set up, was unable to and was forced to block Alexis strike, her Greater Fangs digging a little into the Shinaju's shield, before she was forced back and came at her with the a Beam Saber, and the Beam Axes on it's shield.

The pair blocked and parried each-others blows for a moment before backing off a bit to assess the situation. Alexis noted her opponent seemed skilled in melee combat. No surprise really, you can always assume a certain skill set by looking at what people run, and a Shinaju, while high performance, is still in the 'all rounder' category to Alexis, so she had already assumed the pilot would be good at a bit of everything.

She figured he was doing the same, sizing her up and weighing his options.

Dani and her grimoire stood staring down the hyakuren, who was doing the same. The two of them stood there, doing nothing for the next ten or fifteen seconds. It seemed like an eternity for those watching them. It was another thirty before both of them nodded. Dani got out the large katana across her grimoire's back.

Both of them circled around eachother, then moved forwards. With one fluid motion, he swung downwards and to his right. She brought the sword upwards, at his blade. His armored then jettisoned off the mech and his speed increased, meeting her blade as she noticed this and moved to block it. However, the eyes gleamed pink and the grimoire pushed upwards, cutting through the sword in the hyakuren's manipulators. He tried to pull out a second katana to block that with, but the grimoire was having none of it. Bracing a hand against the back of the sword, she planted the right foot down and pivoted around it, cutting clean through the center of the hyakurene and ending the fight in what was viewed as a mere six and a half seconds.

Sakuya smirked as the sudden defeat of the Hyakuren triggered the virtue to attack ending their stare down. It rushed forward using the bazooka as a club landing a singe hit on the leg armor. Landing on a nearby bridge she threw off her cloak revealing the seravee for all to see before she ejected the back cannons off. Using the heat sabers to fend off more attacks she lifted up her right leg and landed a single kick to the virtue's midsection. Seeing as it was staggered she took the time to drive her heat saber deep into the virtue's left arm rendering it useless for the most part. Bringing out a beam saber the virtue started to hack at the seravee clearly not suited for close combat as much. Not really bothering with the frantic virtue Sakuya activated her GN field blocking a majority of the hits leaving it practically unharmed.

The Viper and Shinaju clashed, blocking parrying and weaving around Saber strikes.

Though it was becoming clear quickly Alexis had the advantage, she was adapting to her opponents fighting style and was starting to pick him a part, and the fact Alexis was starting to win was clearly frustrating him and make him desperate.

That desperation hit it's peak when Alexis masterfully cleaved the shield from the Shinaju's arm a half second before she brought her Vipers heel to bear against the Shinaju's head and sending it flying down ward a little ways. Alexis didn't have time to give chase since it righted it self so quickly, not only that, the pilot said something, she thinks he said 'I'm not losing to you!' but not sure as her Chinese isn't that good.

More concerning was the Shinaju lighting up with some form of Burst Mode. Her Viper was fast, and could easily keep up with Trans-Am and some types of Burst Mode, but it was never something to take lightly. Unfortunately for Alexis this was one of those Burst Modes that was simply beyond her Viper's ability to match, and when he started on her again, it was all she could do to keep him from just cutting her Viper to ribbons.

At first, she soon adjusted to the speed, but all that did was allow her to avoid taking any more solid hits, which hurt like hell thanks to the Viper's Assimilation, but even then he managed to kick the Viper in to a wall, causing her to drop the Grater Fangs. It was there she saw her opportunity to do some real damage.

"Sakuya, Weapons Free" she relayed over the team line, implying that ranged weapons where now an option again. A fact hammered in by the Viper opening up on the Shinaju with it's Head Vulcans, something the Shinaju made no effort to dodge at first, least not until the Vulcan Fire tore the head, right shoulder armor and part the right 'wing' off the Shinaju.

Alexis peeled her self of the wall and gave chase at a full burn, Beam Sabers in hand, and resumed the battle, now with the sound of machine gun fire, the caliber you hear from guns meant to go through Mobile Suit armor echoing through the place, the fight seeming to intensify before the Shinaju's left arm broke clean off blocking one of Alexis's attacks.

She wasted no time, a took full advantage of this sudden, surprising turn and stabbed the Shinaju in the torso with the Beam Saber in the right hand, this time the block attempt costing the Shinaju it's right hand, then dragging the Beam Saber up and through the torso, before kicking it away to fall a part at the cut and explode.

Alexis the parked the Viper out of the Line of Sight of the Virtue, just in case, and took a minute to catch her breath. Assimilation was a lot harder on her then she'd remembered it being.

Sakuya couldnt help but let out a smirk as she heard Alexis say weapons free. The sheating the heat blades she lifted up her gn bazooka's along with the small gn cannons in the sub arms. Before letting out a giant burst at the virtue leaving only the nadleeh behind. With a charge forward she kicked in the torso of the nadleeh before letting out a single blast at its head with the combine gn Bazooka. With that single note the fight ended pretty quickly. "Match Over!" She heard Kirara exclaim as she started to go over the highlights of the battle.

Picking up the seravee and putting it in the case she took over her purple helmet and wiped sweat off her brow. "As I promised ill explain the get up" She said with a small laugh as she thought to her "sponsor" for the tournament Allan was a good man dont get her wrong but she honestly believes that he must of inherited some of the love of bad theatrics from the Meijin or vice versa. "Basically the suit is a prototype assimilation "embody" style function to increase how in touch the pilot is with their gunpla Allan my "sponsor" for the even insisted I wear it so he can get some preliminary data on how it works." Sakuya explained as she took out her hat from her gunpla case and placed it on her head.

Dani retreived her grimoire and walked over to the group. "Eugh, embody. That's the shit that made the meijin lose his mind and was even used on the girl that went missing. Nilson doesn't want development going with it and even forbade it with my research time. He prefered my full dive compared to the Embody function as the gunpla doesn't wear the user, instead the user wears the gunpla with mine." she explained and holstered the container. "however i do look forwards to fighting it, see if embody, natural assimilation or full dive is the best experience." Dani added and stared at her, still curious as to why she's using something like it.
