“Only goldfish fall off their boards unintentionally.” Leon called back to Tom when he commented about him being able to stay on. Unlike the rest of the group; Leon was the only one to stay on their board the whole time. Jo was laughing when she feel so far as he was considered, she fell off for fun. He followed them out to the rest of the waves and despite the best attempts of the other men; he never fell off of his board. --- Upon suppurating from the other men Tom seemed to scuff more towards Leon who just tilted his head back and smirked at him. Silly goldflish, he was in the presence of a god; of course the god would get more attention than he would. As they walked away Leon stuck his board into the sand with a natural easy. Sitting down next to her, he held his hand open and palm up. In a smooth motion he moved his other hand over his palm and a hot dog like the one she ate at the carnival. Without giving it much of a word he placed the hot dog in her hand. Without saying anything he began to look around the beach, he could hear the wishes of the people around them none of them were documented but that didn’t mean they weren’t important. His eyes stopped on a little boy who was struggling to build a sandcastle, “Goldfish, given me your hand.” He said softly and when she placed her palm in his, he snapped his free fingers and the little boy’s father woke up from his nap and began to help the little boy build a sandcastle. A nod left him as he let go of her hand and turned back to her. “There, I’m working.” He said simply with a shrug.
