You're correct. I do, in fact, draw the line at otherkin. But fuck, I wouldn't go so far as to call them mentally ill, jesus.

More over than that, a lot of them don't truly believe themselves to be whatever they 'kin' themselves with, but rather have a strong connection to whatever it is. 

I fail to see what this has to do with gender identities, however.
