[@Ace of Hearts], I could be wrong (and correct me, if I am) but he isn't saying that Nazis weren't war criminals. The Soviets were also war criminals and did more terrible actions towards people than the Germans. 

You guys should have a look at [url=http://www.nybooks.com/articles/2011/03/10/hitler-vs-stalin-who-killed-more/]this book/article by Timothy Snyder[/url] that goes into depth on how horrible both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were during the early 1900s.
